MTV VMA 2021: confira os shows e os vencedores da noite!

Realizado na noite deste domingo, o MTV Video Music Awards – VMA 2021 divulgou os principais vencedores e foi repleto de shows incríveis. Afinal, o evento deste ano, no Barclays Center, em Nova Iorque, que contou com o retorno de público, foi repleto de apresentações avassaladoras.
Tendo Doja Cat como a grande mestre de cerimônias, o VMA 2021 contou com shows de gente do calibre de Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Foo Fighters, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Alicia Keys, entre outros. Além disso, quem também deu as caras no evento foi ninguém menos que a brasileira Anitta, que colocou todo mundo pra dançar com seu mais novo sucesso “Girl From Rio”.
Melhores shows do MTV VMA 2021
Antes de falar sobre os vencedores, vale comentar os shows que mais se destacaram no MTV VMA 2021. Anitta, certamente, fincou seu pé de vez no exterior. Mas foi Lil Nas X quem destruiu no palco e mostrou o performer espetacular que é. Ao lado de de Jack Harlow, a dupla explodiu a plateia com as poderosas “Industry Baby” e “Montero”.
Destaque também para Olivia Rodrigo, principalmente porque quebrou – literalmente – a câmera da MTV no VMA 2021; assim como Machine Gun Kelly, que, além de arrebentar no palco com ‘papercuts’, destruiu a própria guitarra, lembrando os áureos tempos da MTV e do próprio VMA com artistas como Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Matthew Bellamy e Chris Cornell, por exemplo. Grandes vencedores do MTV VMA 2021
Mas, além dos shows, o VMA 2021 também era muito aguardado para saber quem seriam os vencedores em cada categoria da noite. Justin Bieber, que concorria em sete quesitos, e Megan Thee Stallion, com seis indicações, eram os grandes favoritos da festa.
Apesar de ter sido o mais indicado, o cantor canadense levou “apenas” dois prêmios para casa. Justin Bieber foi eleito Artista do Ano e ganhou Melhor Clipe Pop por “Peaches”, Daniel Caesar e Giveon. Por outro lado, Megan Thee Stallion, a mais indicada entre as mulheres, acabou saindo de mãos vazias.
Destaques para Lil Nas X, que levou três prêmios do VMA 2021, nas categorias Melhor Vídeo do Ano; Melhor Direção; e Melhores Efeitos Visuais; todos por “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”. Olivia Rodrigo foi outra que saiu carregada de troféus. A novata do pop ganhou como Artista Revelação; bem como Música do Ano e Performance do Ano por “Drivers License”.
